The methods to prevent stroke are as follows: 1) maintain physical and mental health and emotional stability; 2) eat a reasonable diet with low salt, low fat and low sugar; 3) actively intervene in risk factors for stroke, such as hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hyperhomocysteine and hyperuric acid; 4) actively treat minor strokes. Clinical studies have shown that patients with minor strokes can have a 10% chance of having a major stroke within a week, so active intervention for minor strokes is an active means of stroke prevention.
