The lethargy of patients with advanced stage of liver cancer is usually considered to be caused by extreme physical weakness, complication of hepatic encephalopathy and application of certain drugs. In the treatment of lethargy in patients with advanced stage of liver cancer, prolonging patients’ life and minimizing patients’ pain are the principles of treatment. 1. Extreme physical weakness: due to poor digestion and absorption ability of patients with advanced stage of liver cancer, nutrition can not meet the needs of human body, patients will suffer from anemia and malnutrition, which will lead to lethargy and so on. 2.
