The ovaries discharge a normal egg. The fallopian tubes pick up the egg and transport it to the abdomen of the fallopian tube to await fertilization, where the egg survives for about 24 hours. A sufficient number of active sperm will cross the cervix and uterine cavity and enter the abdomen of the fallopian tube to meet and fertilize the egg (sperm survival time is about 72 hours). Therefore, in order to get pregnant on your own, you must have: egg, sperm, uterus and fallopian tube.
