HPV81 positive means that you are infected with one of the low-risk HPV subtypes. This virus is mainly related to condyloma acuminata or cervical cancer or cervical lesions. It is best to have further cervical TCT and colposcopy examinations. If you don’t want to get pregnant, it is better to use condoms to strictly use good contraception. If you have fertility requirements and plan to prepare for pregnancy, simple HPV infection will not affect pregnancy or cause fetal abnormalities. Therefore, further colposcopy should be done to rule out other diseases of the cervix if HPV 81 is positive. If colposcopy reveals cervical precancerous lesions of second or third degree or carcinoma in situ, further cervical conization will be required. If cervical precancer is found to be mild, it can be treated by observation or physical therapy.
