Double tonic pills are divided into qi and blood double tonic pills and spleen and kidney double tonic pills. The dosage of qi and blood double tonic pills is 1 sachet at a time, 2 times a day; the dosage of spleen and kidney double tonic pills is one pill (9 pills/g) at a time, 2 times a day.
1. Qi and blood double tonic pill: composed of Astragalus, Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, etc. It can tonify qi and nourish blood. It is used for the deficiency of qi and blood caused by less qi and laziness (lack of strength, don’t want to talk), low speech, yellowish color, weakness of limbs, emaciation, irregular menstruation and blood circulation. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not clear.
2. Spleen and Kidney Double Replenishing Pill: composed of roasted Astragalus, Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Poria, Cornus Officinalis, etc. It is used to strengthen the spleen and open the stomach, and replenish the liver and kidney. It is used for deficiency of spleen and kidney, deficiency of qi and yin, yellow face, loss of appetite. This drug is contraindicated in pregnant women.
