The patient has suffered a fracture which was treated surgically by giving internal fixation with a plate. Now the plate needs to be removed and hospitalization is the first step. On the morning of the 2nd day after hospitalization, the patient needs to fast, abstain from food and water, and undergo routine blood tests, including biochemical tests, syphilis, AIDS and other related tests, as well as urinalysis; at the same time, the patient also needs to take a chest x-ray, and the x-ray of the fracture end needs to be taken, in order to clarify that the fracture is well healed, and that the plate can be taken out. The specific surgical steps are to take the original incision after successful anesthesia, incise the skin and subcutaneous tissue, separate the muscle groups around the plate, reveal the internal fixation plate, and take out the screws on the plate sequentially. The whole procedure needs to be gentle and try not to use violence to avoid secondary fracture.
