Eszopiclone tablets are mainly used for anti-anxiety and insomnia. It is also used in the treatment of nervousness, fear and as an anti-epileptic and anti-convulsant.
The common adverse reactions that can occur when taking this product are mainly dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, etc. Sometimes ataxia, tremor, occasional patients experience rash, immunocompromise, euphoria, polyphasia, sleep disorders, and even hallucinations. This product has dependence, but it is mild, long-term application of abrupt discontinuation of the drug may occur withdrawal symptoms.
Acute alcoholism in which the central nervous system is in a state of inhibition, hepatic and renal impairment, myasthenia gravis, acute or susceptible to closed-angle glaucoma attacks, and patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary lesions should be cautious in taking this product. Children, the elderly and infirm should take under the supervision of a physician.
