There is no such thing as “the first major acupoint for removing dampness” in clinical practice. Clinical points often used to remove dampness are Yinlingquan, Sanyinjiao, etc. 1. 1. Yinlingquan is an acupoint on the foot-taiyin spleen meridian. It is located on the inner side of the lower leg, in the depression between the lower edge of the medial condyle of the tibia bone and the medial edge of the tibia bone. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen, removing dampness and inducing diuresis, and can be used for the treatment of diarrhea, edema, jaundice, dysuria, and dyspareunia, etc. It is also used as a treatment point for the treatment of diarrhea. 2. Sanyinjiao is an acupoint on the Spleen Meridian of the Foot Taiyin. This point is located on the inner side of the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the posterior margin of the medial border of the tibia, and can be used for the treatment of intestinal tinnitus, abdominal distension, diarrhea, menstrual irregularities and other conditions. Patients with heavy dampness are advised to visit regular hospitals and be treated under the guidance of professional physicians who can identify and treat the symptoms.
