How to read immunohistochemistry results

Immunohistochemical results are divided into two types: immunohistochemical method and immunocytochemical method. Immunohistochemistry method is mainly to observe tissue sections mainly and brown staining is positive, and immunocytochemistry method is to apply filtered body fluid cells on slides with immunohistochemistry agent and brown staining under microscope is positive. The ultimate purpose of doing immunohistochemistry is to localize, and if the immunostaining is only present in one part of the cells, it means that it is related to a specific function of the cells in one part. It is important to determine not only the presence of positive markers in the tissue, but also the somatic characteristics of the distribution of positive signals, which should be at the same site as the antigen being detected. The combination of the intensity of the coloring and the proportion of the number of positive cells in the same type of cells is used as a criterion to judge the positive marker.
