Normal range of TCT test results

The results of TCT examination are as follows: 1. no abnormal intraepithelial cells are seen. 2. atypical squamous cells are seen. 3. low grade lesions. 4. high grade lesions. 5. cervical cancer. These are the results of T C T examination. Among these results, only the first one, no intraepithelial lesion, is in the normal range, while the others are in the abnormal range. First of all atypical squamous cells are clinically meaningless and further review needs to be given to decide whether clinical intervention is needed. Low grade lesions, high grade lesions and cervical cancer all require different clinical management. It is recommended to do laser treatment for low grade lesions after menstruation. In case of high grade lesions, conical excision of the cervix can be done. In addition, for cervical cancer, total hysterectomy should be done as soon as possible.
