Herpes behind the ear generally refers to the occurrence of herpes zoster behind the ear, which is mostly caused by varicella-zoster virus infection, and can be relieved by general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and physical therapy.
1. General treatment: the appearance of herpes zoster behind the ear may lead to high fever, patients should promptly bed rest, drink more water, eliminate spicy and stimulating food. 2. Topical drugs: when the blisters are not broken can be used externally with glycerine lotion, acyclovir cream or spray acyclovir cream; herpes outbreaks can be used as appropriate 3% boric acid solution or 1:5000 furacilin solution, wet compresses, external use of 0.5% neomycin ointment or 2% mupirocin ointment.
3. Oral medication: oral antiviral drugs such as acyclovir, vasiclovir, analgesic drugs such as ibuprofen, gabapentin, nutritive nerve drugs such as methylcobalamin, vitamin B1 and so on.
4. Physical therapy: ultraviolet light, spectrum therapeutic instrument, infrared and other local irradiation, can promote the blisters to dry up and crust, relieve pain.
