Manifestations of optic papillary edema

The manifestations of optic papillary edema mainly include blurred vision, visual field defects, color vision loss, paroxysmal black haze, tinnitus and so on. 1. Blurred vision. Early stage can be transient, transient blurring of vision, which can occur many times in one day, some can have no obvious cause, some can have blurring of vision due to change of position, which is a symptom of most of the patients. 2. Visual field defect. It is a manifestation of further aggravation of optic papillar edema, and is often persistent. 3. Vision loss. Usually occurs in the late stage of optic papilloedema, the ability to discriminate color vision is reduced. 4. Paroxysmal dark haze. It is also often seen in the more serious cases of optic papilloedema, manifested by a sudden blackness in front of the eyes, unable to see objects, usually transient. 5. Tinnitus.
