Bleeding during conjugal life is abnormal and the two main reasons are as follows: 1) the most common one is cervical inflammation; 2) the possibility of cervical lesions needs to be excluded. Cervical cancer is a preventable and treatable disease and its onset is stage-specific, so cervical cancer screening is especially important. Early detection of precancerous lesions can largely reduce the incidence and mortality rate of cervical cancer. Contact bleeding is a common clinical manifestation of cervical lesions. In view of this, cervical TCT and HPV surveillance are recommended, and the decision to observe treatment or perform colposcopic cervical biopsy is based on the results of the surveillance. Pathological diagnosis is the gold standard for the diagnosis of cervical lesions.
