Pulmonary changes are a term of art in imaging and include many conditions, such as bronchiectasis pulmonary changes, mainly increased and thickened texture in both lungs, if it is pneumonia it will be described as patchy, exudative shadows in both or one lung. If it is a tumor it will indicate whether the upper, middle, lower or left lung, and the right lung has a predominant change. If it is tuberculosis, it will also describe whether there are pulmonary changes such as exudate, proliferation, nodules, calcification, or fibrosis in the upper lung. In the case of pulmonary stasis and heart failure, it would also suggest increased texture, thickening, patchy exudate, or even solid pulmonary changes in both lower lungs. Therefore, pulmonary changes are a broad concept and need to be combined with specific diseases and specific descriptions to make further diagnosis.
