What are the criteria for determining chronic nephritis

The criteria for determining chronic nephritis include symptoms, such as swelling and hypertension; urine examination, such as urine red blood cell morphology dominated by malformed red blood cells, proteinuria, etc.; and renal puncture pathology results, which can visualize glomerular lesions and is more conducive to diagnosis. The so-called chronic nephritis refers to chronic glomerulonephritis, that is, the glomerular filtration barrier, because of the destruction of the inflammatory response, hematuria, proteinuria. Common symptoms are limb swelling and hypertension, and symptoms are clues to the diagnosis of chronic nephritis. If the urine erythrocyte morphology is aberrant more than 80%, after exclusion of secondary factors, consider nephritis; 24-hour urine protein quantitative more than one gram or more, urine protein is mainly albumin, transferrin, most of them are nephritis. If there is renal puncture pathologic examination, showing the proliferation or reduction of intrinsic cells or increase of matrix in the glomerulus, it can diagnose nephritis more accurately, and carry out the determination of the pathologic typing and degree of nephritis. Patients with chronic nephritis are recommended to consult regular hospitals, improve relevant examinations under the guidance of physicians and standardize treatment.
