Is transaminase 70 a disease?

Aminotransferase 70 generally refers to glutamic and alanine aminotransferases which are mildly abnormal in liver function, and can be seen in certain physiological factors as well as in certain diseases. The normal range of gammaglutamyl and gammaglutamyltransferase is 0~40U/L, and 70U/L is mildly high, suggesting liver function abnormality, which can be due to physiological and pathological reasons. Physiologic causes such as excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, and frequent late nights may cause elevated aminotransferase levels. Pathologic causes such as alcoholic liver, viral hepatitis, drug-induced liver injury, autoimmune hepatitis and metabolic liver disease can also cause elevated transaminase levels. When the above situation occurs, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital as soon as possible to complete the relevant examinations, to clarify the specific causes, and under the guidance of the doctor to carry out the appropriate treatment.
