Does circumcision affect circulation?

Circumcision, which is now mainly performed by circumcision, has a temporary effect on the blood circulation, generally only on the circulation of the circumcised area, with little effect on the whole body. The effect on the whole body is mainly due to the choice of anesthesia drugs.

Circumcision achieves its therapeutic purpose by blocking the blood flow and then the excessively long foreskin falls off naturally, so it will produce a temporary blockage of blood flow to the circumcision area. The anesthesia drugs will have a local effect on the penile area, but again, the effect will be temporary and will not leave any after-effects, mainly because of the temporary lack of local blood circulation.

However, if too much anesthesia is used during circumcision, there is a risk of arrhythmia and other circulation problems.

If blood circulation is obstructed after circumcision, patients are advised to consult relevant specialists and make judgment based on their own situation as well as the actual operation.
