What’s wrong with being unresponsive after craniotomy?

The causes of slow reaction after craniotomy mainly include insufficient blood supply to the brain, damage to brain nerves and cerebral edema.
1. Insufficient cerebral blood supply: just after craniotomy, the normal blood supply function of cerebral blood vessels has not been fully restored, and the cerebral nerves and other tissues do not get sufficient blood and oxygen supply, their excitability will be reduced, and temporary unresponsiveness may occur.
2. Brain nerve damage: If part of the brain nerve is damaged during craniotomy, the nerve damage is irreversible, so there will be unresponsiveness after the operation.
3. Cerebral edema: If craniotomy is done, edema of brain tissue can occur, resulting in increased intracranial pressure, causing dizziness, drowsiness, impaired consciousness and other symptoms, and the consciousness will become sluggish.
If you are unresponsive after craniotomy, you must go to the regular hospital to find out the cause of the disease and actively cooperate with professional doctors for treatment.
