How to identify and treat oral lichen planus in Chinese medicine?

Oral lichen planus is regarded as belonging to the category of ringworm of the mouth in traditional Chinese medicine, which is divided into the types of external attack, damp-heat of the spleen and stomach (the spleen and stomach feel the damp-heat evil qi), liver depression and fire (the qi of the liver is blocked, resulting in the production of fire-heat evil qi), and yin-deficiency of the liver and kidneys (insufficiency of yin and fluid in the liver and kidneys). 1. The main manifestations are dense white reticulation of the oral mucosa, visible blisters, oozing, bad wind, fever, sore throat and itchy pharynx, red tongue with yellow fur and floating pulse. Dispel wind and clear away heat and dampness by eliminating wind. 2. Damp-heat in the spleen and stomach, manifesting as plaques and blisters with congestion in the light mucous membrane of the mouth, pain on eating, yellow exudate, bitter mouth and sticky mucus, red urine, constipation, red tongue with yellow greasy moss and slippery pulse. Use Ganlu Sterilizing Dan to clear heat and remove toxins (remove heat and toxins from the body) and benefit dampness. 3. Liver depresses and transforms fire, manifests as oral mucosa has grayish-white reticulation, pigmentation, congestion vesiculation exudation, bitter mouth and dry throat, irritability, tongue red moss yellow pulse string. Use dan jia jia wu xuan san to dredge liver and solve depression (treating depression by dredging liver qi), clearing and draining liver fire. 4. Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, dry and reddish oral muscular membrane, dizziness, forgetfulness, heat in hands and feet, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness (feeling of lumbar and knee soreness and weakness), red tongue with little moss and thin pulse. Use Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan to nourish the liver and kidney, clear heat and nourish Yin. The adverse reactions and contraindications of the above formula are not known.
