Highly and moderately differentiated carcinoma is the result of pathological staging of the tumor and does not determine the stage of disease progression, which usually depends on the TNM stage of the tumor. High-medium differentiation refers to the degree of differentiation of tumor cells, usually the higher the degree of differentiation, the lower the degree of malignancy, low differentiation often suggests a high degree of malignancy. Adenocarcinomas are malignant tumors that occur in glandular epithelial tissues (e.g., breast, lung, gastrointestinal tract, uterus, prostate, etc.). Therefore, highly hyperdifferentiated adenocarcinoma only indicates the pathologic staging of the tumor, but does not determine the stage. TNM staging is commonly used to determine the stage of the tumor, which needs to be combined with the diameter of the primary tumor, the depth of infiltration, the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, and other factors to determine the staging and guide the treatment.
