The patient’s urine pH is 6.5, which is in the normal range. The normal range of urine pH is between 5.5 and 7.4, so a pH of 6.5 is normal. If the pH level in the urine is higher than normal, many patients suffer from cystitis, urethritis, acute pyelonephritis, bladder stones, prostatitis taking sodium bicarbonate and alkalosis, so symptomatic treatment can be done by drinking more water and acidic drinks such as cola. If the pH level is less than normal, the patient may be suffering from diabetes or gout and other conditions, and the condition of acidic urine cannot be ruled out. If acidic urine is present, the most common condition is usually urinary tuberculosis. In addition, the pH of urine is clinically tested to reflect the ability of the kidneys to regulate the acid-base balance.
