Different pupil colors are seen in the following conditions: 1. albinism, in which patients are born with an iris pigment deficiency that makes the pupil look white; 2. prolonged uveitis that causes atrophy of the iris stroma, making the pupil look lighter in color; 3. after an acute attack of glaucoma, segmental atrophy of the iris occurs, making the pupil look different in color; 4. Fuchs iris heterochromia iridocyclitis Patients with Fuchs iris heterochromia iridocyclitis will have worm-like changes in the iris, and patients with ICE syndrome will have iris atrophy, cleft holes, and anterior mucosa, therefore making the pupil look a different color; 5. Trauma causes damage to the iris making the pupil look a different color.
