Laparoscopic hysterectomy usually takes about 2 hours, but it cannot be generalized, as the exact time depends on the surgical approach and the patient’s own condition. Hysterectomy can be divided into partial, subtotal, and total resection, and the surgical approach needs to be chosen in relation to the specific condition. Laparoscopic hysterectomy is not suitable for all patients, such as those with extensive pelvic adhesions, large myomas, or those with severe cardiovascular disease or coagulation disorders. Therefore, patients who undergo laparoscopic hysterectomy are more stable and less difficult to operate on, and the operation can usually be completed in about 2 hours. If the lesion is difficult to separate from the surrounding tissues, the operation time will be slightly longer. In addition, laparoscopic hysterectomy is widely used in clinical practice and is relatively mature because of the advantages of small incision, quick recovery, less damage to other organs and clear surgical field.
