Some patients or family members are afraid that patients will become addicted and dependent to a certain extent when using analgesics, but this concern is totally unnecessary because the most important concern of cancer pain patients in the late stage is their quality of survival, and through scientific, rational and individualized use of analgesics, patients’ addiction is minimized. Moreover, through scientific, rational and individualized use of analgesic drugs, the addiction of cancer patients is reduced to a minimum, and what cancer patients need is a good quality of survival and an end-stage care.
