Hazards of Uterine Removal

The hazards of uterine removal are: younger women who have to undergo uterine removal may experience a decline in ovarian function, early onset of menopause, hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, and symptoms of urogenital diaphragm infection. In addition, they may experience discomfort during intercourse, pelvic floor prolapse, stress urinary incontinence and other discomforts, which can usually be improved by pelvic floor rehabilitation exercises or hormone replacement therapy. Older women who have had their uterus removed also have certain hazards, but relatively speaking, ovarian function has generally declined, and there is no obvious discomfort, but there may be symptoms of pelvic floor organ prolapse that are more serious, and there may be symptoms of coital discomfort, which can be improved through pelvic floor rehabilitation exercises, or external application of estrogen ointment to improve the symptoms.
