Frequent pain in the chest may be caused by gallbladder stones and chronic gastritis, with a higher incidence of gallbladder stones. Gallbladder stones can be accompanied by chronic inflammation of the gallbladder, because stones inside the mucosa of the gallbladder can repeatedly lead to inflammation and infection of the mucosa, and patients often experience discomfort such as vague pain and distension in the chest and right upper abdomen. If eating fatty food can lead to acute inflammation of the gallbladder, the nature of the pain can be significantly aggravated, which may lead to pain in the right side of the back and scapula, along with nausea and vomiting. Ultrasound examination of the liver and gallbladder can make a clear diagnosis, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is recommended. If the examination reveals no stones inside the patient’s gallbladder, it is considered to be caused by gastritis. Because the inflammation of the stomach can also be manifested as vague pain under the glabella with nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension, gastroscopy can further clarify. If the diagnosis is clear oral medication is needed for treatment, such as rabeprazole, clarithromycin, amoxicillin, etc.
