Sophora Solidus generally refers to Sophora Angustifolia. This product has the effect of clearing heat and fire, cooling the blood and stopping bleeding can be used to treat bleeding hemorrhoids, bloody diarrhea, collapse (excessive menstrual flow or dripping) and other conditions.
Sophora japonica is a traditional Chinese medicine, for the leguminous plant Sophora japonica mature fruit. It is effective in clearing heat and fire, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. It is used for hemorrhoidal bleeding, hyperemia, bloody dysentery, disintegration, liver-heat, red eyes, dizziness and other conditions. Its adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear at present. It should be noted that it is contraindicated for use in cold spleen and stomach, and is contraindicated for use in pregnant women.
Clinically, it is often used in combination with Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, for the treatment of hemorrhagic drenching of blood; with Guanzhong, for hemorrhagic drenching of blood (blood in urine accompanied by a painful sensation) and leakage of blood; with Psyllium Hederae, Poria cocos and Glycyrrhiza glabra for the treatment of blood in urine; and with White Paeoniae alba and Mucuna pruriens for the treatment of red dysentery with toxic blood.
