What are the Chinese herbal remedies for warming the kidneys

Commonly used Chinese herbal formulas to warm the kidneys include Warm Kidney Soup and Jin Gui Kidney Qi Pill.
Warming the Kidneys means using warm medicines to tonify the Kidneys and help Yang. It is applicable to Kidney-Yang deficiency and failure of vital fire (weakness of Kidney-Yang in the organism, with reduced function of warming and promoting the movement of Qi and blood). Symptoms include lumbago and knee weakness, impotence and premature ejaculation, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement), coldness, panting and tinnitus.
Warm Kidney Soup has the effects of tonifying the kidney and strengthening yang (tonifying the kidney and yang), fixing astringency and stopping diarrhea. It is mostly used for treating diseases such as failure of fire at the gate of life and diarrhea at the fifth day of the week (diarrhea before dawn). It is composed of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae Praeparata, Poria, Fructus Schisandrae, Fructus Schisandrae, Semen Cuscutae, Cinnamon, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, etc.
Jin Gui Ren Qi Pill is often used in treating oedema and dysuria (unsmooth urination) caused by kidney yang deficiency. It has the efficacy of warming and tonifying kidney yang (warming and replenishing kidney yang), and transforming qi to move water (promoting the movement of qi, thus promoting the movement of water). The drug composition includes Di Huang, Yam, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Poria, Mudan Pi, Zedoary, Gui Zhi, and Prepared Epiphyllum.
