Walking more is one of the ways to control weight in pregnant women. Pregnant women who are in good physical condition have no less than 30 minutes of moderate physical activity per day, including brisk walking, and control through diet is the main method of weight control. Calculating the number of calories that need to be eaten per day is based on the body mass index and the rate of weight gain. For pregnant women with a normal body mass index, the number of calories per day is 1,200-1,500, for pregnant women with a fat body mass index, the number of calories per day should be less than 1,200, and for pregnant women with a body mass index of less than 18%, the calories per day need to be 1,500-2,000. Pregnant women should also eat a balanced diet with protein, fresh vegetables as well as fresh fruits to increase multivitamins and minerals.
