You can’t take Cold & Flu and Sensodyne together. You can choose either Cold & Flu or Sensodyne for the relief of cold and flu symptoms, both are compounded cold and flu medicines, but you can’t take them together at the same time. Both are compounded cold remedies, but they should not be taken together, because they contain ingredients such as paracetamol and acetaminophen, which are also found in Sensodyne. If you take both Cold & Flu and Sensodyne at the same time it will increase the intake dose of both medications and increase the side effects of the medications, for example, paracetamol can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and even lethargy, while acetaminophen may irritate the gastrointestinal tract, for example, causing abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, among other side effects. Both drugs are metabolized by the liver and kidneys, and an overdose is likely to aggravate the metabolic burden on the liver and kidneys, or even cause drug-induced hepatitis as well as renal insufficiency.
