How to treat inverted eye lashes

Patients with implantation can be treated with extraction, electrolysis, and surgical correction to improve eye discomfort. If the patient has only a small number of implanted eyelashes, they can be treated by direct removal of the implanted eyelashes, but the disadvantage is that the implanted eyelashes are prone to recurring. In order to prevent recurrence, patients can undergo electrolysis, a procedure that destroys the follicles of the inverted eyelashes with a probe, thereby treating the inverted eyelashes and improving the patient’s discomfort. In cases of entropion, in which there is a large number of implanted eyelashes, it is usually not possible to remove the inverted eyelashes or to treat the implant with electrolysis, and the patient may undergo surgical treatment, such as entropion correction. It is recommended that patients with implantation be seen by an ophthalmologist at a hospital for evaluation of their condition and treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
