Purulent discharge from the lower body of women is a sign of infectious disease of the female reproductive system, mostly caused by purulent bacterial or anaerobic infections. If there is a history of unclean sex before the onset of the disease, the possibility of vaginitis and cervicitis caused by gonococcal infection should be highly considered. In this case, patients should go to the gynecology department of a regular public hospital in time to have routine laboratory tests and pathogenic microbiological examinations of abnormal vaginal secretions to further clarify the diagnosis. Based on the test results, appropriate medication should be selected for targeted treatment. If gonococcal infection is diagnosed as an inflammatory disease, systematic and standardized treatment should be carried out according to medical advice to cure the disease completely and prevent recurrence. During the treatment period, sexual intercourse should be prohibited.
