Endometrium 7mm indicates how long it takes to get your period

Endometrial lining of 7mm is generally not predictable as to how soon you will get your period.
There is a relationship between the thickness of the endometrium and the cyclical changes in the endometrium. Hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle cause changes in the thickness of the endometrium with cyclical proliferative, secretory and exfoliative changes. The menstrual cycle is divided into three phases: proliferative, secretory and menstrual.
The late secretory phase is the pre-menstrual phase, when the endometrium is spongy and reaches a thickness of about 10mm. Afterwards, because of the decrease of estrogen and progesterone, the endometrium peels off and menstruation is formed. Therefore the endometrium usually needs to reach a thickness of 10mm before menstruation can occur, but the timing cannot be predicted.
If the menopause lasts for a long time, patients are advised to go to the hospital in time to improve the hormone six tests, observe their own endocrine regulation and assess the ovarian function, and carry out standardized treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
