What’s wrong with menopausal women’s calf tenderness and weakness?

Menopausal women’s calf weakness may be caused by physiological factors such as overwork and stress, or it may be caused by the lack of calcium or osteoporosis in the body.

1. Physiological factors: If a postmenopausal woman is overworked or under too much mental stress, it may lead to physical weakness, mental fatigue, calf weakness and other symptoms.

2. Lack of calcium in the body: with age, the body will continue to lose calcium. If the diet is not balanced, it may also lead to calcium deficiency, low immunity, calf weakness and other symptoms.

3. Osteoporosis: The gradual decrease of estrogen level after menopause will affect bone metabolism, leading to active osteoclasts, a decrease in bone mass and an increase in bone space, which will easily lead to osteoporosis. This may lead to osteoporosis, which may result in bone fracture and shortening of height.

In clinical cases, women with chronic weakness of the calves after menopause are advised to go to the hospital for examination to determine whether they are suffering from osteoporosis.
