2. Gastric mucous membrane protector: If the gastric mucous membrane is damaged due to the reflux of bile, pancreatic juice and other digestive fluids into the stomach, gastric mucous membrane protector, such as bismuth potassium citrate capsule and aluminum thioglycollate gel, etc., need to be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions to help repair the gastric mucous membrane.
3. Eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection: Helicobacter pylori infection is one of the causes of non-atrophic gastritis, therefore, if the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection is confirmed, it is necessary to comply with the doctor’s prescription for eradication treatment.
Currently recommended eradication therapy is usually a 14-day quadruple therapy, including proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole and rabeprazole, bismuth agents such as bismuth potassium citrate and bismuth pectin, and two antimicrobial agents such as amoxicillin and clarithromycin.
Non-atrophic gastritis with stomach pain and no acid reflux needs to be treated under a doctor’s supervision, and self-medication is not recommended to avoid medication.
