Hepatic encephalopathy: while restricting protein diet, ensure the supply of calories and vitamins, and prevent constipation. 4. Hepatocellular carcinoma: calorie supply should be ensured and fat intake should be reduced at the same time. For advanced patients, hard, rough and indigestible food should be avoided to prevent gastrointestinal bleeding.
