Chest CT manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a common and frequent disease of the respiratory system. The chest CT mostly shows patchy, cloudy, and speckled shadows with varying density, and can be accompanied by other shadows such as calcifications and cavities. If there is a combination of pleurisy, a dense shadow with high external and low internal density can be seen; if there is a combination of endobronchial tuberculosis, bronchial narrowing can be seen; if tuberculosis is considered, sputum examination, sputum for antacid bacilli, PPD test, bronchoscopy and other tests are needed to further clarify the diagnosis.
