The dangers of honeysuckle foot soaks

The harm of honeysuckle foot soak is not yet clear. Honeysuckle, sweet taste, cold nature; attributed to the lung, heart, stomach meridian. It has the efficacy of clearing away heat and detoxification (removing heat and toxicity from the body) and evacuating wind-heat. Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of carbuncle furuncles (sores on the limbs or face, small in shape with deep roots, as hard as nails), external wind-heat, the first signs of warm diseases, and feverish dysentery (dysentery caused by feeling heat and poison, with blood in the stool). It should be noted that the adverse reactions and contraindications of honeysuckle are not yet clear; honeysuckle is usually decocted and used, and there is no special efficacy of foot soaking.
