To relieve thigh stiffness, the first thing to look at is the cause of the thigh stiffness. If the thigh stiffness is caused by exercise or muscle strain, the main treatment is to reduce the activity and rest in bed as much as possible. If necessary, a cast should be applied for braking, together with limb elevation, in order to reduce edema and damage. You can also apply cold compresses within 24 hours, and after 48 hours, more hot compresses, in order to improve the blood circulation around the condition, promote better recovery and accelerate the remission of the condition.
