There is no such thing as the best prescription for enuresis. Patients with enuresis can take Cuscuta seed powder, tonifying the middle and benefiting qi soup, Jiaotai pill, gentian diarrhea and liver soup and so on. Patients with deficiency and coldness of the lower element show frequent loss of urine during sleep, which is only realized after waking up, aggravated by cold weather, long and clear urine, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), less colorful face, cold shape (cold body), cold limbs, and soreness and weakness of waist and knees (soreness and weakness of the waist and knees). Treatment is with the addition and subtraction of Cuscuta Radix. Patients with Lung, Spleen and Qi Deficiency manifest urination during sleep, frequent and copious urination during daytime, pale or yellowish complexion, fatigue, loose stools (scanty and unformed stools), spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement), excessive sweating with movement, and susceptibility to catching colds. Treatment: tonifying the middle and benefiting the qi, plus subtractions. Patients with Heart and Kidney Dissonance may suffer from urination in dreams, restlessness in sleep, easy to be startled by dreams, irritability and anxiety, more movement and less quietness, poor memory, or five heart-heat (heat in the heart of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest being irritated and hot), and thinness in the body. Treatment with Jiaotai Pill plus subtractions. Damp-heat in the liver meridian (the liver meridian feels damp-heat evil qi) is manifested as urine leakage in sleep, small amount of urine with yellow color and fishy smell, impatience, restlessness in bed at night or dreaming, or even red eyes. Treatment with gentian diarrhea liver soup plus reduction. The adverse reactions and contraindications of the above drugs are not clear. If there is a need for medication, it is recommended that it be used under the guidance of a professional physician, not blindly self-medication.
