Spherical swelling of the pharyngeal orifice of the left eustachian tube with smooth surface.

Left pharyngeal tube pharyngeal opening spherical swelling with smooth surface, may nasopharyngeal cyst, lymphoid hyperplasia, nasopharyngeal carcinoma and other diseases, further pathology is needed to clarify the diagnosis. 1. Nasopharyngeal cyst: the blockage of submucosal glands on the surface of the pharyngeal opening of the Eustachian tube will lead to the obstruction of mucus secretion and the appearance of a cyst-like ball bulge, with smooth surface and yellowish-white color, which needs further pathological and histological examination for clear diagnosis. 2. Lymphoid hyperplasia: there will be lymphoid hyperplasia on the surface of the pharyngeal opening of the Eustachian tube, and some lymphoid hyperplasia is overgrowth, which is bulging like a ball, with smooth surface and dark red color, and it should be identified by pathological and histological examination. 3. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma: it is a malignant tumor occurring in nasopharynx, and the tumor site can be on the surface of Eustachian tube and pharyngeal orifice to cause cancerous lesions, and the swelling may be bulbous, and the swelling can be smooth in early stage, and it is necessary to excise part of the swelling for pathological and histological examination. Spherical mass in the pharyngeal orifice of the Eustachian tube needs to be actively diagnosed by pathologic examination.
