Why does psoriasis come back?

Psoriasis, also known as psoriasis, is a common chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease. The basic damage is erythema, papules, or plaques covered with multiple layers of silvery-white scales. It is still difficult to eradicate psoriasis, but it is possible to achieve a clinical cure. There are many ways to treat psoriasis, but the specific method to be used is dependent on the respective condition. Because of the different causes and symptoms, different individuals choose different methods of treatment. Clinically it is very common for patients to not recur for several years to decades or for life after treatment, but at present there is no medical development that guarantees a complete cure for psoriasis that will never recur. It is very irresponsible or unscientific for any media or medical institution to claim that it can cure the disease, and patients need to choose carefully. And many psoriasis patients will relapse after clinical cure, why is this? The reasons for recurrence are very complex, broadly speaking, there are the following aspects: 1. The recurrence of psoriasis is related to the lack of level and depth of treatment. When the pathological mechanism of psoriasis begins to form, it is only the abnormalities of the blood level, that is, the lesions within the deep tissue cells, which are invisible to the naked eye, and we call them subclinical symptoms. After effective treatment, the rash all subsides, at this time the abnormal reaction in the blood still exists and will last for at least six months or so. If the treatment is stopped and the subclinical symptoms still exist, the rash will appear soon under the provocation of triggering factors, and relapse is inevitable. 2. The causes and pathogenesis are complex, with infection, mental stress, seasonal changes, cold and humidity, and alcohol consumption often being triggering factors. Some patients can occur after trauma or vaccination. 3, can be due to work pressure and rest is not good, resulting in emotional instability, and can not reasonably adjust the maintenance of skin or long-term diet is not regular, overeating, eating fishy and windy things, excessive alcohol and tea, as well as external causes caused by cold, fever, tonsillitis, low immune function, lack of resistance, thus leading to the re-emergence of psoriasis. 4, inappropriate treatment, such as the early system use of glucocorticoids or immunosuppressant patients, after the cessation of the drug is very easy to cause relapse or aggravation of the disease.
