The CT enhancement performance of lung abscess includes the following cases: 1. If it is aspiration lung abscess, it mostly manifests as unilateral lung abscess, from early inflammation to pus-forming stage, which shows imaging changes with fluid planes, and such changes are typical of lung abscess performance. 2. If it is hematogenous lung abscess, it can manifest as multiple lesion changes with different fluid planes in both lungs, and such mostly suggests hematogenous lung abscess. Clinically, lung abscesses also include chronic lung abscesses with large cavities with fluid planes in the middle and irregular margins, and such imaging changes suggest chronic changes. CT enhancement of lung abscesses can show uniform enhancement with low density, which is not the same intensity as cancer. Percutaneous lung puncture can be performed to understand the pus changes within the lesion for further investigation of other diseases such as tuberculosis or tumor.
