Survival rate of nkt lymphoma

The survival rate of NKT lymphoma depends on the patient’s specific condition and whether he/she has undergone standardized treatment. For example, the presence of B symptoms, the patient’s LDH value, the presence of regional lymph node invasion, the presence of adjacent tissue and organ invasion, the presence of distant metastases, as well as the patient’s age, KI67 value, EBV-DNA concentration value, etc., will depend on these specific circumstances of the patient and then on the treatment modality the patient undergoes. Early stage patients can have a five-year survival rate of 70%-80% if they are treated with large field radical dose irradiation, while if they are treated with small field low dose irradiation, the local recurrence rate is high and the five-year survival rate is only 40%-50%. Patients with advanced disease and poor prognosis, even with standardized treatment, have a medium for survival of only 8-12 months, with an overall five-year survival rate of about 30%.
