Gonadal dysgenesis is roughly categorized into three causes: first, chromosomal problems, women’s is XX chromosome, men’s is XY chromosome, which are the two chromosomes of the gonads, and the chromosomal abnormality that determines the development of the gonads, for example, some are missing a chromosome, and some have an extra Y chromosome. Second, the process of gonad development requires some substances, such as enzyme deficiency will lead to abnormal gonad development. Third, none of the chromosomes are abnormal, but the gonads are abnormal during maternal development, such as extreme early menopause, a girl inside her mother’s womb, the gonads have just begun to develop, and even before they begin to develop, they are already menopausal, that is, the function of the ovaries fails, manifested as gonadal hypoplasia.
