Rehabilitation training after meniscus injury needs to be based on the patient’s course of the disease and healing, and different rehabilitation training methods at different times.
1. On the day of surgery: ankle pump exercises, quadriceps and hamstring isometric contraction exercises can be performed.
2. One week after surgery: if the pain is not obvious, you can start straight leg raising, lateral leg raising and back leg raising exercises.
3. 1~3 weeks after surgery: supine leg drop, sitting leg hold exercises and supine stretching, full squatting exercises under protection can be performed.
4. 4~6 weeks after surgery: knee extension exercises such as sitting knee extension can be started.
5. 6 to 12 weeks after surgery: Heel lifting exercises, static squatting exercises, leg hooking exercises, resistance knee extension exercises and other weight-bearing exercises can be started.
Patients with meniscus injury need to go to the hospital, under the guidance of the physician for rehabilitation training, do not blindly training, so as not to aggravate the condition.
