An endometrial thickness of 0.7cm in early pregnancy is normal. In early pregnancy, the thickness of the endometrium is usually maintained at 7-12mm, which is thicker compared to the non-pregnant state. Without pregnancy, the thickness of the lining of the uterus will change with the menstrual cycle, and the range of change is generally between 2-10mm. As the number of days of pregnancy increases, the thickness of the endometrium gradually increases. The increased thickness of the endometrium helps in the development of the fetus. If the endometrium is too thin, it may affect fertility and cause the embryo not to be able to land, thus increasing a woman’s risk of miscarriage. Therefore, a woman with a 0.7cm thick endometrial lining at the beginning of pregnancy does not need to be overly worried and is advised to undergo regular obstetric examinations to closely monitor the changes in endometrial lining thickness. In addition, progesterone and serum levels of human chorionic gonadotropin should also be checked regularly, and the mind should be adjusted to avoid mental stress and sexual behavior.
