What to do about mild varicocele

Mild varicocele is usually treated with general therapy. When it causes significant clinical symptoms, medication is required, and surgery is considered when the lesion continues to worsen.

Mild varicocele usually causes less symptoms or no symptoms, if the semen analysis is also relatively normal, can be general treatment. Take good care of yourself, avoid strenuous exercise, do not increase abdominal pressure, and see your doctor for regular checkups.

If the varicocele causes some obvious clinical symptoms, such as scrotal swelling and pain, medication can be given, such as Diosmin tablets and Mazolin.

When the varicocele is particularly severe, or when the quality of sperm decreases, surgical treatment, such as laparoscopic high spermatic vein ligation, should be considered.

During the treatment period, the medication should be used safely and reasonably according to the doctor’s instructions, and should not be used indiscriminately to prevent abnormalities.
