The herpes of hand, foot and mouth disease usually does not show symptoms of itching and pain.
HFMD is usually caused by enterovirus infections and is an acute infectious disease that affects children under 5 years of age. It can cause herpes on the hands, feet, buttocks and other parts of the child’s body, which may be surrounded by a red halo, with a small amount of fluid in the blisters, but without itching or pain.
Continued aggravation of HFMD may cause severe headache, vomiting and drowsiness in the affected child, and may also lead to various complications, such as aseptic meningitis, brain hernia, dehydration, etc., which may even be life-threatening.
If a child develops HFMD, parents are advised to bring their children to regular hospitals in time for standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors.
