Children’s white spots on the face may be the symptoms of florid chaff rash, white chaff rash, vitiligo and other diseases, need to be for different causes of choice of medication as prescribed by the doctor, physical therapy, surgical treatment and other methods of treatment, but may not be completely eradicated.
1. florid chaff rash: is a superficial infection caused by fungal infection. It occurs in sebaceous gland-rich areas such as the face and neck, and patients may have white spots on the face. Glucocorticosteroids such as betamethasone valerate and hydrocortisone butyrate can be used to help restore skin color, but not around the eyes. Calcium-modulated phosphatase inhibitors such as tacrolimus ointment and pimecrolimus cream can be used to treat the white spots on the face.
Light therapy may also be considered to trigger melanin proliferation and treat the white patches. For patients with stable vitiligo, it is also possible to transplant your own normal epidermal cells or melanin to the lesions.
All of the above medications should be applied as prescribed by the doctor. Children with white spots on the face may also be seen in other causes, some factors lead to facial white spots are difficult to cure, such as vitiligo and so on. Parents are advised to bring their children to the hospital for a clear diagnosis and treatment to prevent the condition from worsening.
